Universal Optical Communication Cable GERDA-KOU-TB for Signal Transmission

Optical communication cable is designed for transmission of digital communication signals, it is used for laying in soils of 1-3 groups, in cable ducts, blocks, inside buildings, tunnels, collectors with increased requirements to mechanical properties of the cable. The cable has an optical core in the form of a central tube, inside which 2 to 48 optical fibres are located, the free space in the tube is filled with hydrophobic compound along the entire length of the cable. On top of the core there is an inner sheath, armour in the form of wrapping with two steel bands or steel corrugated tape and an outer sheath made of polymeric materials
