An intermediate sheath made of polyethylene is overlaid on the core. Two layers of armour made of steel rope wires are spirally applied on the intermediate sheath. The free space between the wires is filled with hydrophobic gel.

The armour is overlaid with a sheath made of high-density polyethylene. Resistant to UV radiation; Excellent protection against rodents.
