Universal Optical Communication Cable GERDA-KOU-Kv2 for Digital Signal Transmission

Optical communication cable is designed for transmission of digital communication signals, it is used for laying in the open air, as well as inside buildings, tunnels, collectors in conditions of electric field, with increased requirements to mechanical properties of the cable. The cable has an optical core of modular design, consisting of a central power element in the form of a fibreglass rod, around which optical modules and other elements (if necessary) are twisted, each optical module can contain up to 12 optical fibres, the total number of optical fibres in the cable - up to 144 pieces. The space inside the module is filled with hydrophobic filler along the entire length of the cable. The protective cover of the cable is made by two coils of synthetic fibres, an intermediate sheath and an outer sheath of polymeric materials
