Network Telegraph Adapter STA-0244 for Connecting Computers to Telegraph Lines

Network telegraph adapter is designed for use as a device that provides the ability to connect PCs to telegraph lines of communication via the data transmission network (DTN). CTA is a telegraph bridge between telegraph communication networks and SPD ("Ethernet extender" of telegraph communication line). The CTA provides: <ul> <li>- possibility to connect one telegraph communication line (C1-TG junction);</li> <li>restoration of distorted received signals;</li> <li>galvanic isolation of the receiver and transmitter circuits;</li> <li>overvoltage protection of the receiver and transmitter input circuits;</li> <li>automatic indication of reception and transmission of information, emergency situations: open circuit, short circuit, counter switching on.</li> </ul>The CTA is an independent network device (it has its own, customisable IP-address). The list of users (IP-addresses of PCs and passwords for communication) is entered into the adapter ROM before the start of operation.
