The unit is an optical bench on which a laser, a set of slits and diffraction gratings, a set of mandrels, a goniometer, a lens and a screen are fixed on movable rails, allowing to perform laboratory works on studying the phenomenon of light diffraction on simple objects and diffraction gratings.
