Granit-16 fire and security control and monitoring devices (hereinafter - the device or PPKUOP) are designed for local and centralised protection of various objects equipped with electrical contact and current-consuming security and fire detectors, with transmission of information about alarm messages and other events to a specially equipped centralised monitoring station (CMS).

Granit-16 PPKUOP can work independently and also as object devices as a part of notification transmission systems "GORIZONT", "LAVINA" or as a part of other manufacturers' SPIs working on SurGard protocol.
