Electric field strength meter IEP-05

The electric field meter IEP-05 (hereinafter referred to as "the device") is designed to measure the RMS value of the intensity of alternating electric fields created by technical means. The instrument uses a dipole antenna and a disc probe as sensors of alternating electric field. With the dipole antenna the device is intended for measuring the intensity of the electric component of the electromagnetic field at workplaces, including workplaces of PC users. With a disc probe the device is designed to measure the intensity of the electrical component of the electromagnetic field generated by video display terminals (monitors) of PCs. Within the limits of its technical characteristics the device can be used to measure the intensity of the alternating electric field irrespective of the nature of its origin. The device complies with the general technical requirements of GOST R 51070-97 for electric and magnetic field intensity meters designed to control electromagnetic safety standards in the field of nature protection, labour and public safety.
