Description

designed to supply the excitation winding, control and automatic regulation of excitation current during direct, reactor, frequency and soft start, synchronous operation and in emergency modes of synchronous motors with power from 200 to 12500 kW with brush excitation system. Exciter is made by bridge or zero rectification schemes with power supply from AC network through power matching transformer.
