Vehicle Detection System "Scald" for Real-Time Traffic Management

Detection of vehicles, formation and output to the traffic controller or to the communication line with the upper level of control information about the dynamic parameters of the traffic flow in the controlled area. Automatic recognition of state registration plates (hereinafter - GRZ), brands and models of passing vehicles, detection of moving and stationary vehicles in the controlled zone and in each lane within the controlled zone. Calculation of average dynamic parameters of traffic flows - intensity, speed, time of presence of vehicles in controlled zones, composition and density of traffic flow. Measurement of the total number (volume) of vehicles that have travelled in each lane for a given averaging period. Use for detection of vehicle presence in specified control zones as a source of signals for realisation of local adaptive control mechanism.
