Universal Television Camera UTK-1 for Professional Video Production

The camera is based on a large-format CMOS sensor, illuminated from the back side, which is housed in a single ceramic-metal housing with an entrance window and a thermoelectric cooler (TEM). The device is evacuated and filled with xenon for more efficient cooling. Cooling of CMOS die with TEM allows to cool the die with a 40 C drop from the heat sink temperature even at 2 A current (instead of 3.9 A max).

This maximises sensor parameters in HDR mode such as sensitivity, dynamic range, resolution and minimum dark signal. The camera includes a clock generator board, which provides: the control diagram of the device in HDR and STD modes; supply voltages; data reception from the matrix; data transfer to a computer via USB 3.0 interface. General control of the device is carried out via COM port.
