Surface Mounted Channel Gate Valve for Open Channels and Walls

Shield gate tray (surface) is mounted in open ducts. It is fixed to the wall in various ways: by anchors, concreting, in spacing. The gate is equipped with spacer wedges made of polymer material, which ensure tight pressing of sealing elements of the shield in the closed position to ensure tightness of the gate.

The gate is controlled by a handwheel, electric actuator or gearbox. Since Shield gates are customised, there is no table of overall dimensions. The height, width of the frame and shield, and depth of embedment are manufactured strictly in accordance with the technical specification.

Other parameters, such as shield thickness, sealing, mounting method, materials of the main parts, etc. are selected depending on the hydrostatic head, pressure direction, and the customer's wishes.
