SPO-NG(A)-HF Optical Cable for Versatile Installation in Various Environments

Optical cable of SPO type is designed for laying in cable ducts, trays, blocks, tunnels, collectors, on bridges and overpasses, between buildings and structures, inside buildings and pipes (including the method of pneumatic laying), as well as for suspension between supports and buildings on the external power element, as well as by coiling method.The cable contains a core of modular construction with a central power element made of steel wire with a spirally applied water-blocking thread, around which optical modules with loosely arranged fibres. The free space in the optical modules is filled with hydrophobic gel. The core is bonded with winding yarns with water-blocking property. The core is covered with a sheath made of a non-combustible, halogen-free polymer composition with low smoke emission.
