The device is designed to facilitate orientation of visually impaired and blind people in space, as well as to provide them with information about their location and the location of nearby objects. The sound beacon for the visually impaired and blind "Orientir" plays a sound file from the internal memory using a speaker. The volume is automatically adjusted depending on the ambient noise, the level of which is assessed by the device using the built-in microphone. The sound file in the internal memory can be changed by copying a new file from a USB memory stick. The device is powered by 12 V using a power supply unit with an input voltage of 220 V, 50 Hz.
