Soft Starter Thyristor Device UBPVD-VC for Smooth Motor Startup and Control

Start thyristor device of UBPVD-VC type with digital control system, rated output voltage 6-15,75 kV, rated power up to 20 MW is designed for soft start, regulation, precise synchronisation of high-voltage synchronous and asynchronous electric motors (EM) of compressors, fans, pumps and other units. The device allows to change the voltage supplied to the electric motor by the method of phase control of thyristors of the power converter. The devices are designed for operation in macroclimatic regions with moderate and cold climate. The device provides the possibility of alternate starting of several electric motors, as well as single electric motors.
