SMD Component Adapter for Reliable Testing of SMD Resistors and Capacitors

Purpose

Connection device for SMD-components testing (hereinafter referred to as the device) provides reliable connection of SMD-resistors and SMD-capacitors of the most existing standard sizes when carrying out measurements of electrical values.

Description

Structurally, the UE is a desktop device, on the top cover of which there is an adapter for connection of SMD-component of a certain size. Two measuring probes are connected to each pin of the component, providing a complete four-wire connection to SMD-components, unlike classic adapters with a spring arm. Realisation of the "real" Kelvin connection in the adapter guarantees high accuracy of measurements and allows to perform them with high reliability.

The probes are electrically connected to the current and measurement (potential) connectors on the back of the device housing for connection of measuring instruments by standard 4 mm banana or BNC connectors.
