Description

One-phase transformer TDM-402 U2 with falling external characteristics is used to supply one welding station with alternating current with frequency 50 Hz at manual arc welding, cutting and surfacing of metals with covered metal electrodes. The transformer is equipped with an arc burn stabilisation device of USGD-3U2-100 or SDI-01 type, designed to maintain stable arc burn at manual arc welding with fusion electrode for AC (ANO-4, ANO-6, MR-3, etc.) and DC (UONI-13/45, UONI-13/55, OZL-8, VI-10-6, etc.). The transformer can be equipped with argon-arc welding unit BAS-01 for welding of aluminium and its alloys with non-melting electrode in those cases when initial arc ignition by contact method is allowed.
