PREPONA-A Vibration Detection System for Enhanced Security Applications

The vibration detection device (VDD) "PREPONA-A" is designed to detect an intruder who overcomes an obstacle by breaking or climbing over it without improvised means, as well as with an extension ladder. PREPONA-A" is a perimeter protection system and consists of a set (up to 255) of vibration sensitive elements (VSE) forming local detection zones adjacent to each other and creating a continuous security boundary. The information about the perimeter overcoming and the state of operability of the VSE itself is transmitted from it via radio channel to the information acquisition and processing unit (IAPU). The unit serves as the basis for organising the security operator's workplace. From the unit information can be sent via wired, wireless GSM, Internet or optical communication lines to the upper level of security of the object.
