Pelvic Shock Stabilization Clamp for Emergency Stabilization of Pelvic Ring Injuries

For temporary stabilisation in vertically unstable pelvic ring injuries. Equipment:longitudinal bars of rectangular cross-section, length 550 mm and 250 mm, two transverse bars of length 390 mm. Material: longitudinal bars, pelvic screws-titanium alloy; transverse bars-aluminium alloy; threaded bushing-medical corrosion-resistant steel.

Longitudinal rods have a mechanism of fixation and fastening. The compression step is 2.3 mm. One turn of the ratchet mechanism provides linear movement of the transverse rod by 30 mm.

Cross bar position lock. The cross bar can be moved at least 100 mm. The lower part of the cross rod has a through hole for a threaded bushing for compression.

The linear range of compression is at least 60 mm. The threaded sleeve has a Ø8 mm through-hole for a 220 mm or 190 mm long pelvic screw. The assembled pelvic forceps provide compression and fixation of the pelvic ring from 65 mm to 610 mm.
