Optical Communication Cable KOS-OKPS for Reliable Network Applications

Optical communication cable KOS-OKPS is designed for use on the unified telecommunication network of the Russian Federation. The cable with a remote power element is used for suspension on the supports of overhead communication lines, power lines, lighting poles, power facilities, between buildings and structures, in cable ducts, pipes, blocks, tunnels, collectors, bridges and overpasses. It has an optical core in the form of a central tube made of polymer material.

Inside the central tube there are optical fibres produced in the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union member states. The optical module made of PBT is filled with hydrophobic gel along its entire length. The remote power element is presented in the form of a steel cable.

Outer sheath: polyethylene that does not spread combustion in single or group laying. The outer sheath is resistant to UV radiation.
