Bucket elevators (elevators) NM-5 (hereinafter referred to as elevators), are designed for vertical movement of grain and grinding products at mills, grits plants, feed mills, etc. The principle of operation of elevators is as follows. Grain enters the elevator shoe through the loading sock.

As the buckets pass around the drum of the shoe, they are loaded and lifted to the elevator head, where they are unloaded into the discharge spigot under the action of centrifugal force.
