Microprocessor-Controlled Arm Prosthesis PR4-BOB for Enhanced Mobility and Functionality

Upper limb prostheses with an external energy source are designed for prosthetics for people with disabilities of all age and gender groups with unilateral or bilateral defects of the upper limbs due to the presence of a shoulder stump for independent performance of actions requiring fine coordination and significant grip strength in self-care, work (excluding heavy work), recreation and replenishment of cosmetic defects of the lost upper limbs. The prostheses are customised to the individual orders of patients and are intended for personal use only. Prostheses are made of components and materials of the company "OTTO BOCK", comply with the requirements of GOST R 51632, GOST R 51219, GOST R ISO 22523, technical specifications, documentation set and order form. The prostheses use bioelectric (myoelectric) control, where myopotentials taken from the muscles of the residual limb serve as the control signal.
