The unit is designed to receive and process, in accordance with the specified algorithm, discrete signals in the central signalling schemes of power system facilities equipped with digital or electromechanical devices of relay protection and automation (RPA).The unit is a combined multifunctional device that provides reception of alarm and warning signals and their display by means of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), issuance of discrete signals of generalised and audible alarms, fixation and x-value of the signal inputs. Two RS-485, two Ethernet 100 BASE-FX, USB and availability of IEC 61850 protocol. Rated voltage of operating current: AC 220 V, DC 220 V. The unit is designed for installation on control panels, panels and cabinets in relay rooms and control desks of power plants and substations, also at gas and oil industry facilities.
