Machine Telegraphs and Indicators for DC Applications - Efficient Command Transmission

Machine telegraphs are designed to transmit commands about the course of the ship from command posts to executive ones and receive confirmation of their reception (execution). MT modifications according to technical characteristics and performed functions: <ul> <li>- power supply voltage (24V, 26V, 110V);</li> <li>number of commands (3, 9, 13);</li> <li>constructional design (wall-mounted, console);</li> <li>backlit scale.</li> </ul>Machine telegraphs operating on 24 or 26V power supply are used as emergency or main MTs on boats and small vessels.

All devices of machine telegraph installations and control receivers used in a set with them have different number of modifications by type of scales and colouring.

Steering telegraphs and pointers are designed to transmit steering machine control commands from command stations to executive stations and to receive information about their execution. Steering telegraph installations include telegraphs, steering pointer sensors and indicating devices (control receivers).
