STROM-USB-2 Information Security Device for Preventing Data Leaks

The "STROM-USB-2" product is designed to prevent information leaks (protection) when connecting removable USB data carriers in read mode (without the ability to output information to a removable medium) to a PC that processes restricted access information up to and including the 2nd degree of secrecy.
The product realises the following functions:
- Identification and configuration of the connected external USB mass storage device class;
- Reading information data from the connected external USB mass storage device class and transferring them to the PC operating system;
- Hardware prohibition of writing PC information data to the external connected USB mass storage device class;
- Modification of the name of the external connected device transferred to the PC.
The product is compatible with operating systems (OS): Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, OS X (MacOS) supporting a set of SCSI standards.
