Information Reception Complex KPI-5 for Satellite Communication

Designed for operation as a stationary point of reception of digital arrays of information in X,L-band frequencies in scheduled communication sessions from spacecraft having orbits with altitudes from 300 km and above. The components of KPI-5 are placed outdoors and in stationary heated rooms. KPI-5 operates under the supply voltage from the industrial electrical network 380/220 V 50 Hz. KPI-5 is a universal complex, it can be placed on minimum areas, with a wide range of solutions of technical tasks on demodulation, decoding, restoration of frame structure, registration and storage of received target and service information, on formation and delivery of information flow to the complex of primary information processing and to the means of information synchronisation, on reproduction of registered information from received satellites for the purpose of repeated restoration.
