Frequency Converters for Self-Propelled Freight Wagons - Efficient Mining Solutions

Converters are designed for use in traction electric drive of self-propelled freight cars operated in the mining industry. They are produced in two modifications: with natural cooling (IF-TTET) and external liquid cooling (IF-TTZhT). Main functions: smooth acceleration and stopping of the car, change of direction, implementation of electric differential, complex protection and diagnostics. The design of converters provides the possibility of their replacement by the operating personnel without the use of lifting and transport mechanisms. Advantages: transistorised frequency converter with DC intermediate link; power recovery into the supply network in braking modes; extended range of supply network voltage variation.
