Description

The Datateca storage system is designed for long-term data storage with cost minimisation comparable to tape libraries. It can be used for migration and subsequent replacement of tape libraries with a similar approach to storage, but without the use of mechanics with sequential access to data (robots, streamers, cassettes, etc.). "Datateka" is designed to store data that does not require immediate access, which allows you to power off the discs, connecting them as needed, thus providing savings in disc life, low power consumption and no special requirements for cooling. The media used are 3.5 SATA discs of arbitrary models and manufacturers
