CP-OGSB Liquid Measurement and Calibration System for Accurate Flow Measurement

The CP-OGSB units perform the functions of reproducing, storing and transmitting the unit of volume, mass, volumetric and mass flow rate of liquid during calibration and verification of the following types of flow transmitters: turbine, ultrasonic, chamber flow meters (positive displacement meters), corioliosis, vortex, electromagnetic, and other types of flow meters with a pulse output signal. The principle of operation of the units consists in repeated displacement by the piston of a known volume of liquid from the measuring (calibrated) section, which is limited by optical detectors of the piston position. The piston performs translational motion under the action of the fluid flow passing through the measuring (calibrated) section of the installation. The mass of liquid in the flow and/or mass flow rate of liquid and/or volume flow rate of liquid is measured (reproduced) using density, temperature, overpressure measuring means and information acquisition and processing system.
