Computer Block BK01 - 6U Carrier Board for Advanced Computing

The BC01 computer unit is a 6U carrier board with the CPB904 processor module installed on it in ETX format. CPB904 is based on x86-compatible AMD LX800 chip and implements computing and standard interface functions of BC01. All user interfaces and secondary power supplies are implemented on the carrier board according to the ToR. The previous version of the BC was made on the basis of an imported EPIC format calculator with interfaces separated on the front plate and the carrier by means of numerous cables. The key feature of the new BC01 is the complete absence of cable connections, which significantly reduced the cost of the product and virtually eliminated failures due to vibration and shock loads. The BK01 computer unit is designed for use as part of microprocessor control systems in a wide temperature range and unfavourable climatic conditions, for example, on railway transport.
