Biological Safety Module MBB - Ensuring a Secure Research Environment

Biological safety module is a specialised set of structures and premises, providing creation of a physical barrier between the internal space of the module and the environment, building structures of the building and neighbouring premises. It is intended for enterprises and institutions that work with objects and materials containing or suspected to contain microorganisms of pathogenicity groups I-III (BSL-2, BSL-3, BSL-4 level). The patent for invention No. 2439265 dated 10.01.2012 was registered and a positive expert opinion was received from the Anti-Plague Centre of Rospotrebnadzor on the possibility of using the BB Module to create biosafety objects.
