The VECTOR-3D scanner is a hardware-software complex for non-contact piece-by-piece measurement of log geometric parameters as part of automated roundwood sorting lines, roundwood accounting systems, other similar systems and independently. VECTOR-3D performs full scanning of the log surface (obtaining a 3D profile) moving on the conveyor, then performs mathematical processing of the profile in order to eliminate interfering factors (sagging bark, interfering elements of forest conveyor structures) and transfer of processed values (diameter, length, volume, curvature, ovality, runaway, zakomelistosti) to the upper level systems.
