Current transformers for protection, are designed to transmit a signal of an emergency condition in the line or equipment, characterised by overload currents or short-circuit currents, several times higher than the operating current of the line.
Transformers transmit the signal to protection, automation, signalling and control devices and are installed on cables with diameter from 70 to 200 mm.
Transformers can be used in (3-110) kV switchgears provided that the main insulation between the current-carrying conductors of the cable and the secondary winding of the transformer is provided by cable insulation or air gap.
Transformers are manufactured in the version "U" category 2 according to GOST 15150.
Operating position - any.
