The microprocessor-controlled forearm prosthesis consists of individually fitted receiving and supporting sleeves made of injection moulded laminated plastic on the basis of acrylic resins, a set of RCS for a long forearm stump, a hand with electronic control system, with a high-strength flesh-coloured silicone cosmetic shell reinforced with nylon mesh. The forearm receiving sleeve is of the descending type, with strap fastening, the prosthesis has bioelectric control of the hand operation.
The change of electrical potentials arising from the contraction of the forearm stump muscles allows the fingers of the artificial hand to spread and contract with fixation of the fingers in the "Grip" position, the hand design provides passive stepless rotation with adjustable stiffness. Externally, the cosmetic shell of the hand corresponds in the smallest details to a living human hand (skin colour, papillary lines, veins, nails, joints).
