Prosthesis is designed for partial compensation of congenital or acquired injuries resulting in amputation of the upper limbs at the forearm level (below the elbow joint), including long stumps (after separation of the hand in the wrist joint, preservation of the hand rudiment) with preservation of the active elbow joint. The prosthesis consists of two main parts: the sleeve and the hand module (MANIFESTO). The sleeve in turn consists of a stump (internal) and an external (supporting) sleeve.
The prosthesis can memorise 8 different gestures. By default, the first gesture in the prosthesis is the fist gesture, the other gestures can be customised individually by the user at the time of prosthetics or afterwards by the user. The gestures can be switched and adjusted via the mobile app or by command from the EMG sensors.
All fingers are electromechanically controlled. Fingers 2 to 5 have 2 movable interlocking joints. The thumb has 1 movable joint.
