The process of cleaning occurs due to friction of root crops on the abrasive surface of the disc and the walls of the loading chamber together with water supply. Unloading of root crops is carried out due to centrifugal force. This method of cleaning of root crops allows to reach the degree of cleaning up to 95%. It should be noted that no potato peeler cleans 100% of the root crop, and it will need to be peeled with a knife. After the peeling process, the mash is removed through the opening of the bed through a hose directly into the sewer or through a special filter (mash collector, not supplied).
