The source is designed for power supply of remote facilities operated in unmanned mode and allows to provide electricity and heat, operating on various types of gaseous fuel. The source contains from one to six universal generating modules with Stirling engine.
The rated electrical output of one module is 1kW, the rated thermal output is 3kW. The main equipment is placed in a container, the necessary temperature conditions inside the container are provided by the ventilation and heating system.
Control, emergency protection, issuing status signals to external systems are provided by the control system. A battery is used to start the engines and to ensure stability of engine operation in transient and emergency modes in case of smooth and abrupt load changes.
