Windings are multilayer, cylindrical, made of aluminium (copper) wire of rectangular (round) cross-section with glass fibre insulation and impregnated with organosilicon varnish, with a surface varnish layer. The interlayer insulation is made of glass fibre reinforced plastic. Magnetoconductor of the transformer with air-barrier insulation is made of anisotropic steel with electrical insulating coating, low specific losses, according to "Unicore" technology, due to which a significant reduction of no-load losses and noise level is achieved.
