The presence of carbon endoprosthesis prevents the formation of a rough fibrous scar in the defect area, excludes the development of adhesions of the hard and soft brain membranes. The implants can be easily modelled with the usual cutting tool along the perimeter of the bone defect and placed in the bone bed without additional fixation, as the implant is well pressed to the bed by the skin-aponeurotic flap. The implant has sufficient strength, quickly grows through the surrounding tissues, vessels and is firmly implanted into the edges of the bone defect due to the growth of the connective tissue film.
