The simulator is designed for practising the skills of various punctures. It has soft texture, realistic tactile sensations.
There are accurate anatomical formations: clavicle, sternum, ribs, midline of abdomen, axillary region, iliac region, iliac crest.
Intentions:
? Carotid artery palpation, jugular vein puncture, saphenous vein puncture?
? Preferred use in the semi-recumbent position (simulation for critically ill patients) for thoracic puncture, aspiration for pneumothorax;
? Puncture of hepatic abscess;
? Intracardiac injection, pericardial puncture?
? Abdominal puncture (left or right side position preferred);
? Intraosseous puncture (iliac bone)?
? Femoral artery puncture, femoral venous puncture?
? Possible preoperative aseptic treatment;
