The kit is designed for the study of platelet aggregation in human blood plasma by optical aggregometry and in whole blood by impedance aggregometry to detect activation or dysfunction of these cells for the diagnosis of acquired and hereditary thrombocytopathies.ADP (Adenosine 5`- diphosphate) is used in clinical diagnostic laboratories as an inducer in routine platelet aggregation assays to determine platelet dysfunction or activation. In thrombocytopathies there is a change in the functional activity of platelets, which is differently reflected in their interactions under the influence of different activators, and it is this property of platelets is the basis for the diagnosis of this group of diseases and syndromes. Kit contents: - ADP in buffer with stabilisers, lyophilically dried with a concentration of 1 mM (1 ml/fl.) - 3 vials.Number of determinations in 1 kit: from 20 to 100 depending on the concentration used.
