Vibrating Hopper for Powder Material Feeding - Ideal for Vacuum Thermal Evaporation

The vibro hopper is designed to feed material in the form of powder for explosive thermal evaporation in vacuum. Explosive evaporation allows the evaporation of alloys and compounds, including multi-component ones with widely differing component pressures. The stoichiometry of the starting material is maintained in the sputtered layer.

This is achieved by feeding the powder onto a superheated surface, so that each grain is vaporised immediately, ensuring that the material is transferred to the substrate in the original ratio of components.
