Ultrasonic Level Sensor UTS-68 for Maritime Applications and Liquid Monitoring

Ultrasonic level signalling device UTS is designed for discrete control of liquids level in ship tanks, reservoirs, bilge wells, cofferdams, control of water inflow into compartments, etc. Principle of operation of ultrasonic level switches: ultrasonic level switches have no moving parts. The principle of operation is based on estimation of oscillation attenuation of the resonator placed at the end of the waveguide rod, thus the waveguide is not sensitive to contact with the liquid; the piezoelectric transducer generating oscillations is placed in the signalling device body, taken out of the tank. This increases reliability and simplifies maintenance; ultrasonic principle of operation is characterised by increased protection against sticking, durability under dynamic loads, higher reliability of operation.
