Two-Component Protective Liner "Calcipulpin Plus" for Dental Applications

"Calcipulpine Plus" is used as a protective self-hardening lining based on hydroxyapatite and calcium hydroxide in the isolation of the tooth cavity from the filling materials, as well as direct and indirect coverage of the pulp. "Calcipulpine Plus" helps to protect the pulp from harmful influences, especially from microbial toxins. The material contains calcium hydroxide, which has a highly alkaline environment. Once at the bottom of the cavity, the material has a neutralising effect on acids that come from cementitious materials or the mouth, so that they do not reach the pulp. In case of direct contact with healthy pulp, the material helps secondary dentin to form. The product is a two-component system (paste + paste), mixing the pastes creates a homogeneous composition that is easy to introduce into the cavity.
