Description
The TRL18 Mud Density Lever Scale is used to accurately determine the density or weight of drilling or cement mud at any temperature. The TRL18 Lever Scale is designed so that the mud bowl at one end of the lever is balanced by a counterweight fixed at the other end and a movable weight moving freely along the flat graduated scale of the lever. To bring the scale into balance, a bubble level is mounted above the fulcrum.
On the face of the lever scale are measuring scales with ranges in lb/gal and g/cm³, and on the other side lb/?³ and psi/1000? depth. Lever scales provide a simple, practical way to accurately determine mud density.
