Stand SP31 is designed to reproduce the rotational speed during calibration and verification of sensors, rotor speed meters and check the amplitude-frequency response (AFR) of eddy current vibration displacement meters.
The operating principle of the SP31 stand is based on setting the rotation at a constant frequency of a metal disc fixed on a shaft rotating in bearings and connected to an electric motor. The electric motor provides rotation of the disc with different number of revolutions. The disc has three control surfaces in the shape of circles which have one, two and sixty grooves.
The control surfaces 1 and 2 are arranged on the upper surface of the disc in the form of protruding concentric circles of different radii. The smaller radius circle has one (1) groove and the larger radius circle has two (2) grooves, the grooves being 180° relative to each other. A reference surface with 60 grooves is arranged along the cylindrical surface of the di...
