Description

Purpose: stationary downhole cable, distributed parameter monitoring (DTS, DAS), continuous monitoring of events in the well. The cable contains a central optical module (steel sealed tube with optical fibres, filled with gel). A buffer layer is overlaid on the optical module. A protective steel hermetic tube is placed on top of the buffer layer. A blue coloured polymer sheath is placed over the tube.
