Optical Fiber Cable OKKPT for Reliable Data Transmission

Optical cable contains a dielectric power element and an outer veil of optical modules. The total number of modules is up to 24. Each optical module contains up to 24 optical fibres (OF).

The total number of single-mode or multi-mode fibres in the cable is up to 288. Intramodule and intermodule space is filled with hydrophobic compound or other water-blocking material along the entire length. The core is bound by a winding of glass fibre, textile or polymer yarns or tapes.

On top of the core there is an inner sheath made of polyethylene, an outer sheath made of aramid yarns and an outer sheath made of material resistant to surface electrical breakdown (dielectric tracking).
