Optical Fiber Cable for Suspension, OKBs - Ideal for Various Installations

Application: Used for laying in cable ducts, collectors, tunnels, soils of groups 1-5, in water when crossing rivers and swamps up to 2 metres deep. Optical cable contains a core in the form of a central steel optical module with optical fibres (OF) laid inside.

The total number of single-mode or multimode fibres in the cable is up to 96. Armour made of galvanised steel wires is applied on top of the core or on top of the intermediate polyethylene sheath overlaid on it. Intramodular space and voids in the wires are filled with hydrophobic compound along the entire length.

The armour is covered with an outer polymer sheath made of polyethylene or polymer compound that does not spread combustion in single or group laying.
