Optical Communication Cable KOS-OKD for Reliable Network Connectivity

The optical communication cable KOS-OCD is intended for application on the unified telecommunication network of the Russian Federation. Drop cable round is used for laying in protective plastic pipes, cable trays, channels, inside buildings and constructions, for suspension on supports of overhead communication lines, city lighting, between buildings and constructions as an attached and attachable cable. It has an optical core in the form of a central tube made of polymer material.

Inside the central tube there are optical fibres produced in the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union member states. The optical module made of PBT is filled with hydrophobic gel along its entire length. The power element is represented in the form of dielectric fibreglass bars.

Outer sheath: polyethylene or polymer material that does not propagate combustion in single or group laying. The outer sheath is resistant to UV radiation.
