Microprocessor-Controlled Shoulder Prosthesis PR8-MVO for Enhanced Mobility and Support

The prosthesis after shoulder dislocation with electromechanical actuator and contact control system shall consist of individually fitted receiving, cosmetic and bearing sleeves, made of injection moulded laminated plastic on the basis of acrylic resins, plastic elbow-forearm unit in flesh colour, hand with electronic control system with high-strength silicone cosmetic shell in flesh colour reinforced with nylon mesh. Externally, the hand shell shall correspond in the smallest detail to a living human hand (skin colour, papillary lines, veins, nails, joints). The prosthesis shall have contact control of the hand operation. The power supply shall be built into the supporting sleeve. Closing and opening of the contact shall be done with a healthy hand or otherwise and shall allow the fingers of the artificial hand to be spread and brought together with the fingers locked in the "Grip" position.
